Yvie Biddle-Hentic - Senior Project

i've finished my oil paintings and really everything else i have to do is general touchups and some more watercoloring. my journal also needs to be rewritten down but when thats out if the way- HORRAH. i need the fabric fir the installation also.

all u ned us to figure out how to make the installation as fun as possible for the public.

Counting down the days

Okay so;

I took a picture of frankle and i'm working all day tomorrow at school on oil painting so i have to paint his face and toms... Mollie is almost done- she's looking quite dead. 

I'm bringing in barbie; shes complete!!!! and my four sketches are done they still just need wash and some funky effects. 

After school today i'm planning on getting some lace for my piece.

I have candy for the installation and a few layouts. 

OH!!!I GOT CORRECTIONS ON MY DIARY ALSO! I GOTTA DO THOSE AND PUT IT TOGETHER!!!

Crunch time!

I'm hoping for humiston to be my grader. 

I need to get my journal edited and i need to finnish up my oil paintings. i have 2 more paintings to do and i have to watercolor brush my two other paintings. i ned to find lace for my ink drawing

my barbie is almost done. 

I need the dimensions for my installation which hopefully i will be getting later on today!

What did i do?

This week i submitted my journal to be edited, I still have to work on illustration and what not. 

i've also done some movie reviews. I have one of my portraits half way done. 

My Barbie is coming along but still needs alot of work. 

It's definitely coming along :]

Icky typepad.

Again, typepad doesn't like my internet :{ so this is yet again late. grrrrr.

So! I finished my zombie journal and i'm really happy with the way it turned out. I just have to have it revised and have to find some fabric to bind it all. I've written 28 pages and i'm pumped to doodle in it!!!

other things that i'm currently working on is a barbie i'm manipulating her into a zombie.

my 3 portraits are in the making... and coming along well i just have to figure out which body parts should be missing and what not. 

this is what i've been doing for the past 2 weeks. i know it doesn't seem like alot, but i assure you. it's tiring.

I've come up with some new ideas for paintings, but i'd like to keep them confidential. I'm still thinking about what my installation should look like and need to start working on my oil painting. 

my dairy i'm trying to get to 30 pages. 

i've been working hard on my process book recently and i want to add some color to it instead of keeping it black and white like it is now. 

i have more movies to watch before i start my movie reviews.

Diary entry::

I called into work over and over again. No response. I guess I quit; which means I’m forcing Barclay to quit as well. I can’t panic- maybe it was just a minor outbreak and it was unfortunate that it was around the area. But then again long island is a small area and virus’s spread fast. We stayed at home; I refused to watch the news and find out what was going on. I wanted to be ignorant for at least one more day.

We watched Aladdin with Isabelle and some other Disney movies, she didn’t seem to fight me about going to school like she usually would. But she did do her homework.

Barclay and me decided that we would stay in tonight, and try and call the store again tomorrow just incase the owner had the same idea as we did. Until we heard from the owner though we wouldn’t go near the town. We still had a good amount of food left in the house.

Barclay also brought up a good point; what about our parents? What about our friends? Hopefully they were all safe and it was an issue we would have to deal with tomorrow; trying to contact them. As for now I’m tired, and want to watch the lion king next.

Babies

Currently i'm in the process of a baby sculpture, my outside consultant is Leslie Fromm and i am currently working on taking photos of some friends in order to manipulate there appearances into my interpretation of them as zombies. 

My goal is to get at least 20 more diary entries this weekend.

i've decided on the mysterious and eerie theme for my installation, the song is still to be decided... but i want it to seem almost holy??

My diary is coming along well. 

I need to start my murals- and find my outside consultant. plus work on my processfolio.

Little snippit:

October 5^th, 2009

            I woke up late today and missed the first three hours of work. When I got home after rushing through the rest of my day to makeup for time spent sleeping, I turned on the news and made two sunnyside-up eggs, ever since I read the shinning they became my favorite way of cooking eggs. “An elderly women was shot today at john f. Kennedy airport after her decent of flight 425 from Bhutan to New York.” Was the first thing I heard on the broadcast. Then I heard her name “Ms. Leon, was enraged during the flight and had to be restrained after biting the stuartess. When the flight landed she was brought into custody and tried to attack an officer and was killed on the spot. “ Ms. Leon… as in Jack Leons mother. I’m going to have to call him tomorrow. This was even too much news for me.

this is only the begining draft- i need to go back- this is just compiled ideas.
