This week was quite interesting. I almost finished two new song ideas, and I have written two poems, one of which is finished and which I am very proud of. I hope to rework my rubric in order to make poetry an element of my project.
What I will work on next week is developing the instrumentation for the two songs which is underway already and to continue thinking of ideas for more poems. An outside consultant is being searched for in order for me to have a professional opinion on the elements that are contained within the poems. I hope to complete all of this by Monday with the help of Alexandra Cromwell and Kenneth Sacks. My latest work is posted below
Pergamum:
As the morning swirled neon paintings on the field's listless dew,
The rain children thronged the translucent thrones of the skies
To ambush a chariot of stars so dauntless and few,
Before their consecrated pilgrimage to the moon's undraped glass eyes
Dismembered at the floor of a rich whirlpool of creams,
Her arms are the conifers which fondle the rose clouds that pass
Over covetous heavens and past sugared magnolia streams
Nymphs never cease to cleanse her in chromatic brass
So come hither oh muse so diaphonous and fair, close your eyes to float with the gales borne from euphonious recline. When I stumble to drink from the perfume rich ocean's blond hair, which unalloyed jade meadows will my heart find in thine?
