Progress has been made on the finding of materials and the space for the tent I will be making. I have got in contact with a tribesman who actually lives in a Bedouin camp in the Middle East, who has agreed to send genuine Bedouin tent materials once I get the measurements. I contacted him through (http://www.bedouincamp.net/). I have also gained a lot of information through which I can start the essay on now. The musical portion of the project will be delayed slightly, for the instrument I am ordering is back-ordered until Oct. 30th. I have found Middle Eastern musicians who I can stylize my music after in order to fit the genre that Bedouin tribes study, which is simplistic, Islamic folk. A problem I face is how I might be able to keep the Bedouin tent up in the space I have now, because I can not jam the poles in the ground. I was thinking perhaps of using a type of brick or heavy rock-like material and drilling a hole in it through which I can put the pole. Any suggestions?
