I can't believe it's already been 3 months... I remember people saying that November disappears when you're in the middle of your senior project, but I didn't realize just how fast it would go! I've spent the past couple weeks shooting a bit, but mainly working on creating sequences of stills for my film. I've also been looking for some sort of music that I can edit the piece to so that it has a sense of rhythm. Figuring out what exactly my installation will look like has been really difficult. I have to integrate stills, a film, and writing in a way that shows they are each telling a separate narrative (respectively emotional, rhythmic, and linguistic) in order to immerse the audience in a complete experience together. I have piles of sketches that I'm going to go over this weekend with my dad (who is one of my outside consultants), Vincent (my other outside consultant), and Franco (a Ross alumnus who has some installation experience and also knows the limitations and hidden bonuses of various spaces @Ross ).
