Second to last post: (?!)
It's amazing that we've only been working on our senior projects for 13 weeks! I feel like it's become such an ingrained part of my thought process and weekly routine that I won't know what to do with myself once it's over. That being said, there's still tons left to do. I ordered paper to make final prints next week and I still have to order extra ink. I'm going to be using Hannemuhle archival paper and printing mostly at home on my dad/outside consultant's computer. He has some really cool programs, especially for split tone black and white color correction (contrary to what most people think about black and white photography, different kinds of black and white prints have different tones, and even though a print may look completely black or gray or white, they're actually tinted with warm or cool tones). I can't wait to start printing! Also, I found out about which space I'll probably be getting (the corridor in the lecture hall that Tomas and Claire had their exhibitions in). It's a really interesting space, the hallway is very long and narrow and it opens up to a semicircular room where the majority of my product will be). This weekend I'm going to work some more on sequencing images and writing, I've had some serious writer's block for the past couple days, hopefully that will lift soon!
